Last updated: March 30, 2026

Agreement And Eligibility

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ReceiptCue, including our website, applications, connected mailbox features, receipt-processing workflows, advisor features, and billing flows. By accessing or using ReceiptCue, you agree to these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use ReceiptCue. If you use the service on behalf of a company, household, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that person or organization to these terms.

The Service

ReceiptCue is designed to help users choose which payment card to use, upload and analyze receipts, manage card and workspace data, connect supported Gmail or Outlook mailboxes, and review spending-related insights. Features may vary by plan, workspace type, integration status, and service availability.

ReceiptCue provides informational workflows and software tools. ReceiptCue does not provide tax, legal, reimbursement, or accounting advice, and you should not rely on the service as a substitute for professional judgment. If a question requires tax, legal, or reimbursement conclusions, you are responsible for consulting an appropriate professional.

Accounts And Workspaces

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and all activity that occurs through your account or any workspace you control. You must promptly notify us if you believe your account or a connected integration has been compromised.

Workspace owners and admins are responsible for managing invitations, access levels, billing actions, and connected mailbox permissions within their workspaces. You are responsible for making sure the people you invite are authorized to access the data available to them.

Subscription Billing, Renewal, And Cancellation

ReceiptCue currently offers self-serve pricing that includes a Free tier, a Pro plan at CAD 7.99 per month, and a Team plan at CAD 27.99 per month. Team workspaces may also incur extra seat charges that are currently listed at CAD 4.99 per additional seat per month when applicable. Current pricing and plan details are shown on the pricing page and at checkout.

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe using Stripe-hosted checkout and the Stripe customer portal. Unless we expressly state otherwise at checkout, paid plans renew automatically each monthly billing period until canceled.

You may cancel a subscription through the billing workflows we provide, including supported Stripe customer portal flows. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless we expressly state otherwise. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused time, unused capacity, or scheduled end-of-period cancellations.

We may change pricing, plans, features, trial terms, or promotion terms prospectively. Taxes may apply. If payment fails, billing is overdue, or activation is incomplete, ReceiptCue may limit features, move the account into read-only or pending-activation states, suspend access, or terminate the subscription until billing issues are resolved.

Connected Mailboxes And Customer Data

If you connect Gmail / Google Workspace or Outlook / Microsoft 365, you represent that you are authorized to connect that mailbox and permit ReceiptCue to access the message data needed to operate the integration. You are responsible for all notices, consents, and permissions required for the content you upload, sync, or import into the service.

Imported message content and attachments may be stored, processed, and made visible within the relevant workspace according to the product's sharing model and your role configuration. You remain responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of the content you submit to or process through ReceiptCue.

Acceptable Use

You may not use ReceiptCue to do, attempt, or assist with any of the following:

  • Violate any law, regulation, third-party right, or applicable workplace or platform policy.
  • Access or process mailbox, receipt, payment, or personal data without authorization.
  • Interfere with the service, bypass security protections, scrape the service, reverse engineer restricted components, or test for vulnerabilities without permission.
  • Upload malicious code, infringing content, deceptive content, or data that you do not have the right to use.
  • Use the service in a way that could harm ReceiptCue, other users, or third parties, including through fraud, abuse, or excessive automated activity.

Intellectual Property, Feedback, And License

As between you and ReceiptCue, you retain ownership of the data and content you submit to the service. You grant ReceiptCue a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and to comply with law.

ReceiptCue and its associated software, branding, interfaces, documentation, and service content are owned by ReceiptCue or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or compensation.

Service Changes, Suspension, And Termination

We may add, remove, modify, or discontinue features, integrations, plans, or content at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe that you have violated these terms, created a security or legal risk, failed to pay applicable fees, or used the service in a way that could harm ReceiptCue or others.

You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including sections related to billing obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution, will survive.

No Professional Advice And Disclaimers

ReceiptCue is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceiptCue disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any recommendation, import result, OCR result, or advisor output will be complete, accurate, or suitable for your circumstances.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceiptCue and its operators, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or anticipated savings arising out of or related to the service or these terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of ReceiptCue for all claims arising out of or related to the service or these terms will not exceed the greater of CAD 100 or the total amount you paid to ReceiptCue for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law And Disputes

These terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to ReceiptCue or these terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

You and ReceiptCue agree that the courts located in British Columbia, Canada will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to the service or these terms, and each party submits to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time by posting the revised version on the site and updating the 'Last updated' date. If you continue to use ReceiptCue after the updated terms become effective, you agree to the revised terms.
